This is my polar bear, hand drawn and cut out of cardboard along with his flank of spruce to make a christmas card a few years ago. I have framed him in a box frame diorama to recreate the feel of the scene. I was initially inspired by totem poles in my creation of “straight on” animals, and I really like his rather serious nature. I love illustrating on recycled cardboard and re-purposing some of the packaging that comes my way. It’s also fun working in this stripped down graphic and geometric style.

This is fragile because of the glass front, so I will wrap it as carefully as possible, hence the packing and shipping charge.
