I love these snowflakes, I found pictures of real snowflakes and then worked out my own illustrated versions.  I love the capacity biro has to create such detail and depth of tone. I really enjoyed working on the geometrical forms in these snowflakes and building up the tones within the ice crystals.

The original image is created with biro on white card and then reprinted. They are an A6, 400gsm (which is a nice weight) silk card, they come with festive red envelopes.

A donation was made to the RSPCA when these cards were printed.
